How I Met Gintoki

Okay! XD; umm.. i drew this for ~The-Den's "how i met my chibi" contest.. yay, go me, my first da club submission ever, lol. basically what happened was im there reading SJ and then he appears after i wonder what it would be like to meet gintoki.. yes, thats supposed to be me.. i only look like that when my hair is straight though, and even then it doesnt 'really' look like that but thats the best way i could think of to draw it xD; if anyone says anything about looking like a cross between itachi and kabuto, orochimaru will claim their body. >_>;

aah, i havent drawn anything in all pencil in a while.. i think ive forgotten how.. ~.~; but the best part was ginchan, his hair is a little tricky but once you get the hang of it its okay. ive sketched gaara before (scraps) and its kind of similar. he was really fun to draw, and also playing with perspective, its my first time doing that so if anyone wants to give any pointers go ahead.. ^^ (how-to-draw-manga books win [at least mine anyway].)

one more thing, i might have to re-scan this some time later, because im using a different scaner and it um.. it picks up way too much.. like smudges all over the left side.. >.> so i had to play with brightness/contrast/minor clone a little bit to fix it, which threw off detail.. so when i use my old scanner again hopefully it wont pick those up. i never thought i would ever have to condemn a good scanner... >__>;;
